If you are fed up being “ripped off” by taxi or limo drivers for the short trip from Las Vegas Airport to the Tropicana Hotel, then don’t worry, there IS a little known alternative. The WESTCLIFF Airport Express which will bring you for only $2 from the airport terminal right to the Tropicana Hotel. From the Bus Stop at Tropicana simply use the overpass provided with escalators over the street directly to the hotel (see the virtual tour for the location). It couldn’t be simpler.

Tropicana is the stop at Las Vegas Boulevard, which is the second stop after the departure at Airport Terminal 1 Zero Level. The trip will take you 10 minutes. Please note “By law, the aisles must be kept clear of grocery bags or other packages.” put your luggage between the seat rows…

The Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) operates 7 days a week from approximately 5:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. on weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. on weekends. During peak hours the service runs approximately every half-hour and every hour during non-peak hours.

Group shuttles are available on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7 – 13.  Airport personnel are available to help queue the lines and provide assistance as needed.

At Terminal 3, shuttles are conveniently located outside on Level Zero on the west end of the building to serve domestic travelers and on the east side of the building to accommodate international travelers.  Quick exit lanes will allow traffic to leave the airport quickly and airport personnel are available to assist as needed.

Taxis

More than ten taxi companies provide service to and from the airport and locations throughout Las Vegas.  Taxi cab service is regulated by the Nevada Taxicab Authority, a Nevada State agency responsible for issuing medallions and setting fares.

• Some taxis will not accept credit card payments. Customers should notify the attendant if they plan to use a credit card for payment.
• There is a $2.00 charge on all fares originating at the airport.
• The maximum number of passengers allowed in any taxi is five (5), including infants and children.

Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1 – 4.  Airport personnel are available to help queue the lines and provide assistance as needed.

Terminal 3

At Terminal 3, taxis are conveniently located outside on Level Zero.  There are 20 taxi loading positions on the on the west end of the building to serve domestic travelers and 10 loading positions on the east side of the building to accommodate international travelers.  Quick exit lanes will allow traffic to leave the airport quickly and airport personnel are available to assist as needed.
