Photosynth, 4 ways to show the world in 3D

Do you want to learn about the latest achievements of Photosynth and how you can use it for your own projects?

IVRPA delivers you first hand information with a talk from Anne Archambault, Senior Program Manager at Microsoft Photosynth.

Photosynth’s new Technical Preview launched in December 2013 to great enthusiasm.  The new preview enables users to capture the places they love in full 360° interactive 3D and with amazing resolution. This high-altitude flight to Everest, for instance, takes just one minute to play, but every frame contains a whopping 60 megapixels. You can stop anywhere and zoom in on every last pixel.  This session will provide an overview of the Technical Preview and how to shoot its four new capture modes: spin, walk, wall, or panorama.
